    Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job - Eureka, California

    Job Details

    • Hours per Week: 40
    • Contract Length: 13 weeks

    • Daily Caseload: 8-12 procedures

      • Coronary artery disease diagnostics and interventions
      • Peripheral vascular disease diagnostics and interventions
      • Cardiac arrhythmias
      • Permanent pacemaker placements
    • Call Requirement: Yes
    • Weekend Requirement: No
    • Floating Requirement: No
    • Block Schedule: Will consider
    • Locals Accepted: Yes
    • Orientation: 30 hours
    • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
    • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
    • Fluoroscopy Permit
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association

    Compliance & Documentation Requirements

    • Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
    • Drug screen (9 panel) within 12 months
    • Physical exam within 1 year, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
    • Immunizations and health documents required:
      • TDAP (within 10 years or declination accepted)
      • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
      • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
      • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
      • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
      • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
      • COVID-19 vaccination record preferred (declinations accepted)
    • Respirator medical clearance required annually for travel candidates
    • Drug screen attestation required if instant drug screen used
    • References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
    • Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment

    Additional Requirements & Notes

    • Radiation badges issued by facility (not candidate responsibility)
    • No weekend or floating requirements
    • Facility may allow one shift call-off every two weeks
    • Pending state fluoroscopy permits accepted if application submitted at time of submission
    • Must have approved Return to Office (RTO) at time of submission
    • Various mandatory online training modules and competency exams assigned via WorkRamp platform, including annual regulatory and specialty-specific modules
    • Epic training modules required for facility access
    • Fit mask testing required onsite unless valid record within 1 year exists
    • Background checks include multiple federal and state-level screenings, updated regularly
    • Candidates may be required to complete float policy acknowledgment
