Registered Nurse (Home Health & Hospice) - North Dakota

Location

• City: Williston, North Dakota
• Travel radius: Service area within 60 miles around Dickinson

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Schedule

• Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Patient Population

• Adults, Geriatrics, Pediatrics in home health and hospice settings

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing physical assessments and health history reviews
• Develop, initiate, and revise individualized care plans based on nursing diagnoses
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide health care instructions to clients and families
• Identify and implement discharge planning needs
• Serve as Case Manager when assigned, coordinating client care for caseload
• Prepare clinical notes and update primary physicians at least every 60 days
• Communicate client condition changes and obtain physician orders as needed
• Ensure availability of necessary equipment and services
• Supervise and evaluate home health aide care

Documentation & Systems

• Use of HomeCare HomeBase electronic medical record (EMR) system

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Home Health & Hospice nursing experience is required
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Additional Requirements

• No clinical involvement beyond nursing scope
• Candidates must not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with a specific large health system within the past year
• Return to Office (RTO) required upfront; no additional RTO approvals after submission

Hours

• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
