Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Lewisville, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

• Provide nursing care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.
• Work in a full-service acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency services and a Level III Trauma Center.
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology and work within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Documentation system used: Meditech.
• Floating to other units as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Work Schedule & Environment

• Weekend shifts every other weekend or as discussed during the interview.
• Call requirements may apply (to be discussed).
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• Adherence to attendance policies is mandatory.

Professional Standards & Appearance

• Scrub color and dress code requirements apply (specific colors not stated).
• Nail policy: Clean and healthy nails only; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements.
• Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer in lab areas.
• Facial hair must be clean and neatly trimmed.
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; exceptions handled individually.
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings).
