Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Atlantis, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Employment Type: Travel
Unit and Work Environment
- Unit: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
- Number of Beds: 42 (brand new unit)
- Equipment: New therapy equipment available
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
- Floating Policy: Primarily floats within the Inpatient Rehab unit
- Dress Code: Grey scrubs required
Patient Population and Experience Requirements
- Patient Experience: Minimum 6 months experience in acute care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), or Inpatient Rehab unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
- Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience in Acute Care and Rehabilitation settings
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- OTR (Occupational Therapist Registered) Certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Procedures and Responsibilities
- Provides 1:1 therapy sessions
