Description
Supervisor/Charge Nurse - Nights
Location: Hamburg, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 (block scheduling preferred: 6 on, 8 off)
Job Description
- Serve as Supervisor/Charge Nurse for Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room units.
- Act as a working supervisor, providing direct patient care in Med Surg and/or ER.
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Any OB/Newborn Stabilization education or training is encouraged to submit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- Experience in Charge Nurse roles
- Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
