Description
Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift starting at 6:00 PM
Hours per Week: 30
Job Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, intermittent positive pressure breathing, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and sputum induction.
- Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics such as electrocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan, persantine, dobutamine, stress echocardiograms, tilt tests, holter monitoring, pulmonary function testing, arterial blood sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, electroencephalograms, home sleep studies, and nocturnal oximetry as required.
- Document patient records according to departmental standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Colorado.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, including experience within the last year.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Completion of high school or an equivalent qualification.

- Prior travel experience is not required.
