Description
Registered Nurse - Med Surg (Travel)
Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a medical-surgical setting.
- Work at a facility that treats over 50,000 emergency patients annually and provides care to approximately 13,000 patients each year.
- Facility offers a wide range of surgical services including robotic surgery, spine, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, interventional pain management, interventional cardiology, gynecological, general, oral, urological, eye, and trauma/emergency services.
- Orientation occurs biweekly on Wednesdays.
- Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

- The facility is accredited by the Joint Commission.
