Description
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Stroke Unit)
Location: Crestview, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6 PM - 6 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on a Medical-Surgical Stroke Unit (2S)
- Must have experience with stroke patients and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments
- Position requires working night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience with stroke patients and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHCA certification required for all Florida travelers
Additional Information
- Stroke and NIHSS experience must be included in the application submission
- Position start date is ASAP
