Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Days)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult lifespan.
- Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize nursing care.
- Follow nursing philosophy, standards of care, and standards of practice.
- Support a midwife-led, low-intervention approach to pregnancy care emphasizing natural birth with medical resources available if needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Experience in Postpartum and Mother/Baby care.
- Epic EMR experience.
- New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required for temporary RN staffing in NH).
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Must have own vehicle.
- Must include permanent address in profile.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years.
Compliance & Scheduling
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance. Proofs must be uploaded promptly.
- Requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at the time of submission; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
- Scheduling requests made after submission or at interview will not be approved and may result in offer rescindment.
- Block scheduling or schedule accommodations will not be considered.
- Candidates who plan to work concurrently with another permanent or travel assignment should not be submitted.
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
