Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Nights
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood, applying knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize care.
- Support a midwife-led, low-intervention approach to pregnancy care, emphasizing natural birth with access to medical resources if needed.
- Care focus includes Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother/Baby units.
- Use Epic EMR system for documentation and patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Experience in Postpartum and Mother/Baby care.
- Active New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required for temporary RN staffing in NH).
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Must have own vehicle (firm requirement).
- Must include permanent address in profile.
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and documented within 5 days of offer acceptance.
- Epic EMR experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years.
Additional Requirements & Notes
- No block scheduling or schedule accommodations will be considered.
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible ("local travelers" excluded).
- Candidates cannot work concurrently with another permanent placement or travel assignment.
- Non-billable orientation required; call expectations apply.
