Registered Nurse - OR (Operating Room) - Travel Position
Location
- Denver, Colorado
Job Type
- Travel assignment
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
Unit Information
- Operating Room with 23 OR beds
- Staff includes approximately 70 team members
- Day shift staffing example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- EMR system: Meditech
- Typical procedures: Elective surgeries including Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
- No trauma cases handled on this unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Acute Care experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Orthopedics/Spine and Cardiovascular cases is a plus
