Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Temp, Long Term Care

Location: Sweetwater, Texas
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities, and to reduce aspiration risks.
  • Create communication treatment plans to enhance both the individual's ability to be understood and to understand others.
  • Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech language pathology services in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as facility policies.
  • Provide appropriate care and services to residents in a long-term care setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Texas
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist within the last year
