Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Silver Spring, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Day shift (4x10 hours), 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Hours per week: 40
- On call: 1 week every 4 weeks
- Weekend requirement: Yes

Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maryland
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
Additional Requirements
- Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
- Completed employment application/resume
- Skills checklist updated annually (as applicable)
- Radiation badge provided by facility for new radiology-related candidates (including Cath Lab Tech)
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure required for new candidates in listed units including Cath Lab Tech
- Clear, passport-style photo required for badge (recent, professional attire, neutral background)
- Facility-specific forms and checklists must be completed prior to start
- Maryland CJIS/DSS/FBI fingerprinting required for behavioral health units (not applicable here unless assigned)
Important Notes
- Tobacco/nicotine use in any form is strictly prohibited; failure of nicotine/cotinine drug screen results in automatic cancellation
- Candidates must comply with fit mask testing and facial hair policies; no exceptions without approved accommodation forms
- Certifications must be current and valid beyond 30 days from start date; proof of completion cards required (no digital proofs accepted)
- Facility will not accept pending state licenses
- No floating or reassignment outside scope of practice
- On-call rotation is 1 week every 4 weeks with weekend coverage required
This position is ideal for Cath Lab Techs with at least 1 year of experience seeking a travel contract in an acute care hospital setting with a structured day shift and on-call responsibilities.
