Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Days)

Job Summary

• Provide collaborative care planning and implement nursing standards for individual patients.
• Patient ratio up to 6:1, supported by 2 LNA’s, a Nurse Lead, and House Supervisor.
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no more than 5 days allowed.
• Block scheduling and 48-hour guaranteed time off are not available.
• Local travelers are not eligible.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile).
• Minimum 3 years of current Medical-Surgical (MS) experience.
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown experience.
• Charge nurse experience is required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
• EPIC EMR experience is highly preferred.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Skills checklists for Medical-Surgical and Stepdown/PCU (current within 1 year) must be documented.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred but not required.
