Description
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Cody, Wyoming
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a Critical Access Emergency Department setting.
- Treat patients of all ages and a wide variety of emergency conditions.
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Current certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work within a 100-mile radius restriction: travelers with a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible.
- Timely start is mandatory; late starts without licensure issues may result in agency fees.
