Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology
Location
- Orange Park, Florida
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 12 weeks
Unit and Work Environment
- Unit: Ultrasound (Medical Imaging)
- Equipment: GE ultrasound machines (3 machines available)
- Documentation systems: Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
- Scheduling: Need coverage Friday through Sunday, 7 AM to 7 PM
- Floating: May float to Fast Special Emergency Department (FSED) and take call
- Patient Experience: Use AIDET communication with all patient encounters; provide friendly, knowledgeable, and timely care
- Hospital certifications: Trauma and Stroke certified
Procedures Performed
- General ultrasound
- Vascular ultrasound
- Obstetrics ultrasound
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with experience within the last year
Dress Code
- Black scrubs required

- The hospital is a Level II trauma center with a Level II NICU
