Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU
Location
- Lewes, Delaware
Assignment Details
- Travel assignment length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days
- Hours per day: 10 hours
- Hours per week: 40 hours
- Possible floating to SDS or PAT units
- Call shifts: Approximately 4-5 call shifts per 4-week period, including weekends and holidays
Unit Information
- Facility size: 210 beds
- PACU unit beds: 12
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients
- Patient types: Orthopedic, Gynecological, Pediatric, Vascular, ENT, C-section, GI, General surgery recovery
- Typical charting systems: Cerner/SurgiNet
- Medication system: RX Station
- Required skills/equipment: Arterial lines (Alines), ventilator management
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience, specifically in PACU
- Delaware RN license or compact license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Additional Information
- Shift pattern may include 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts; typical schedule is 5 days per week, may include weekends
- Local area highlights: Lewes Beach, nearby Rehoboth Beach and Boardwalk, shopping outlets, and restaurants
