Description

Registered Nurse (PACU RN) - Travel Assignment

Location: Sheridan, Wyoming
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (Monday - Friday)
Hours: 8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 5:00 PM window), approximately 36 hours per week
Call: 7-10 call shifts per month including weekends and holidays, with option to call off 1 shift per week

Job Description

Provide care as a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nurse with Phase I PACU skills.
Minimum 3 years of PACU experience and/or ICU training, with 1-2 years specifically in PACU.
Work in a mountain town environment with opportunities for outdoor activities.

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) is preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 3 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, including experience within the last year
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications

Additional Information

Schedule includes call shifts on weekends and holidays.
Option to call off one call shift per week.
