Description
Respiratory Therapist Tech - Day Shift
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 15 weeks
Job Description
- Provide continuous airway management including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support.
- Perform physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care.
- Care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations.
- Utilize equipment such as computerized charting systems, Pyxis medication management, PB 980 and PB 840 ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport ventilators.
Schedule
- Day Shift: 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM
- Three 12-hour shifts weekly (36 hours total)
- No guarantee of hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Hawaii
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
Additional Information
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required before contract start. Flu vaccination can be administered during employee health clearance appointment.
- Must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday. Do not accept the start date if unable to arrive on time.
