Pre-op / PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Contract

Location: Newport, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift (5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours/week)
Call Requirement: Yes, taking call is required

Job Description

Position involves working in Pre-op and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings.
Located in a rural area with limited public transportation; personal vehicle is necessary.
The community offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling.
Support provided for transition into the community and role.
Attendance at department quarterly education sessions is required for agency professionals.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Vermont
Minimum 1 year of recent PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience
Pre-Op experience
Perioperative experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ACLS certification
BLS certification
PALS certification

The facility is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.
