Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Job in California
Location: Eureka, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day shift, 8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details

- Parking: Free parking on first day; assigned parking provided during orientation

- Floating: Required to float between like units
- Block Scheduling: Accommodations possible at manager's discretion

- Pending License: Not accepted
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
- Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - Therapeutic certification
Additional Requirements
- Must complete Providence Health and Services system and specialty-specific WorkRamp training modules annually
- Must comply with floating policy acknowledging possible reassignment to other nearby facilities
- Must provide a passport-style badge photo with neutral background
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
- Color blindness testing may be required on a unit basis
- Radiation badge issued by facility (not candidate responsibility)

- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
- Pending licenses are not accepted
- Locals are accepted for this travel contract
- Background checks and education verifications are strictly enforced
- Candidates must be prepared to float between similar units as needed
