Unit Information
- Unit: Respiratory NICU/PICU
- Facility Type: Tertiary care and teaching facility
- Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center
- Level 3 NICU
- Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Equipment Used: High Flow Devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo’s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, regular nebulizers
- Floating Policy: May provide coverage for regular adult floors for nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, CPT, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
Job Responsibilities
- Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases
- Utilize advanced technologies and medication delivery for respiratory therapy
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
