Mammography Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Reno, Nevada
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Overview

  • Perform diagnostic mammograms and assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures.
  • Provide patient care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring quality and safety standards.
  • Operate mammography equipment proficiently and make technical decisions to optimize image quality.
  • May be required to float within the department based on competency.
  • Use hospital and department computer systems as part of daily duties.

Work Schedule & Environment

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week (shift details to be discussed during interview).
  • No on-call requirements.
  • Must work 2 or 3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
  • Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
  • Fast-paced, high-volume environment serving a large regional area.
  • Level 2 trauma center with a busy imaging department.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Mammography Technologist license in Nevada.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist, with experience within the last year.
