Job Opportunity: CVOR RN
Location: Reno, Nevada
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Assignment Length: 9 weeks
Shift: 06:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Description
- Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care.
- Long-term assignment lasting approximately 9 weeks from the scheduled start date.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nevada
- Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Onboarding & Compliance
- Must pass Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Specialty Exam with a score of 80% or higher.
- Completion of Prime Skills Checklist and Prime Orientation Packet (including Essentials Form and Post Test).
- Submission of professional credentials including diploma/transcripts or third-party education verification.
- Prime Agency Attestation and employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation) required.
- Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check must be completed and documented.
- Signed current job description (within the year) required.
- Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or direct supervisor.
- Updated and accurate resume required at time of offer acceptance.
- Annual Prime Color-blind test required.
Notes
- Some optional documents may be requested during onboarding, such as a badge photo or notarized name affidavit if there are discrepancies in credentials.
- Fit testing and some immunization requirements may vary by location but must be completed prior to or at onboarding.
This position is ideal for experienced CVOR RNs seeking a short-term assignment in Nevada with comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
