Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Location: Lewes, Delaware
Contract Length: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
Shift: Days
Hours: Typically 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (may include weekends)
Unit Size: 12 beds
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1 RN to 2 patients
Call Requirements: Approximately 4-5 call shifts per 4-week period, including weekends and holidays
Facility Trauma Level: Level III
Typical Patient Types: Orthopedic, Gynecological, Pediatric, Vascular, ENT, C-section, GI, General surgery recovery
Charting System: Cerner/SurgiNet
Medication System: RX Station

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience in PACU
• Delaware RN license or compact license
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Skills/Equipment: Experience with arterial lines (Alines) and ventilators

Additional Information

• Possible floating to SDS or PAT units, either first or in rotation with permanent staff
• Preferred shift length is 10 hours, but 12-hour shifts may be considered
