Registered Nurse - Infusion

Location: Jeffersonville, Indiana

Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Infusion, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care. You will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care while promoting quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. The role includes supervising licensed and non-licensed staff, mentoring and precepting team members, and participating in quality and safety improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, making sound independent decisions.
• Develop, prioritize, implement, and revise plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
• Provide education tailored to patient and family needs throughout the care continuum, including discharge.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and foster teamwork.
• Participate in practice governance and comply with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an inpatient setting
• Telemetry experience
• Port access experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
