Job Description
- Perform routine and specialized breast imaging procedures to produce quality diagnostic images.
- Work independently using sound judgment and clinical skills to ensure safe, precise, and timely results.
- Provide competent patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication to gain patient and family cooperation.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- May perform specific procedures and orient new staff to the department.
Shift Details
- Monday to Friday, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day (40 hours/week)
- Shift times vary:
- Monday-Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required with variable start times (7:00-7:30 AM)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
