Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU

Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (18:45 - 07:15)
Weekly Hours: 36 (includes weekend hours)
Call Requirements: None


Unit Information

  • NICU with 25 beds plus overflow on pediatric floor
  • Patient ratios vary by acuity, typically:
    • 3 feeders
    • 2 CPAP
    • 1 nitric oxide
    • 1 cooling
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: EPIC

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Arkansas
  • Minimum 1 year of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience working with infant patients

Preferred Qualifications

  • STABLE certification

Additional Information

  • Possible float to mother-baby or pediatrics units, though unlikely due to high census
  • Dress code: Black scrubs
  • No call required
  • Patient population: Neonatal ICU (NICU) level 3 care
