Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery (Operating Room)
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Must have 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience in a busy OR department.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Work schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 06:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
- On-call requirement: one night every 2 weeks and one weekend every 6 weeks.
- Workday hours may extend depending on case load.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois.
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, including experience within the last year.
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Operating Room (OR) experience.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
