Job Opportunity: CST/ORT - Operating Room

Location

  • Portland, Maine

Position Details

  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Department: Operating Room
  • Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
  • Weekend Hours: 36 hours (1 weekend in 4 rotation, 12-hour shifts)
  • Call Requirements: One overnight call (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) for Trauma; call schedule varies if assigned to specialty teams (Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Number of Beds: 26
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Equipment Used: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Epic
  • Patient Type: Operating Room cases including trauma and specialty surgeries

Required Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience
  • Surgical technician experience within the last year
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
