Specialty
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Operating Room (ORT)
- Focus on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures
- Level One Trauma Center environment
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years as a Level 1 trained CST
- At least 2 years of experience in the specialty
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 3 years of experience, including experience within the last year
- Current CST certification
- Competency in:
- Robotics (Davinci Xi)
- PCNLs (Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy)
- Nephrectomies
- Ureteral Reimplants
- Hysterectomies
- Cystectomies
- Colpocleisis
- Hysteroscopies
- Ureteroscopies
- Comfortable working with patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
Work Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend coverage: 1 in 4 weekends, 12-hour shifts
- One overnight trauma call per week (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM); call schedule varies by specialty team
Unit Information
- Operating Room with 26 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment used: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot
- Electronic Medical Record system: Epic
Preferred Skills (not required)
- Experience with General Surgery, Orthopedic trauma and joints, Neurosurgery, ENT, Pediatrics, Plastics, Dental, Endovascular procedures
