Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma Center
Total Staffed Beds: 379
Job Description
- Position is for an Acute Care Physical Therapist.
- No floating between units.
- No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
Additional Requirements
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required.
- Completion of facility and system-specific mandatory training modules via WorkRamp LMS prior to start and annually thereafter.
- Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
- Education verification required.
- State-specific background and registry checks as applicable.
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable.
- Skills checklist updated annually for applicable units.
- Float policy acknowledgment may be required.
Facility Dress Code
- Licensed personnel: solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs (no print tops except in specific units).
- Unlicensed personnel: solid hunter green uniforms or scrubs (no print tops except in specific units).
Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- No weekend or on-call shifts.
- No floating between units.
- Parking available free in unrestricted employee/visitor lots.
