Registered Nurse - Home Care

Job Details

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Location Requirement: Must be a local candidate or a true traveler if commuting over 40 minutes to the territory

Job Description

• Provide home health nursing care in a high-volume setting, seeing 5-6 patients per day
• Extensive documentation required
• Must have experience with OASIS (Outcome and Assessment Information Set)
• Weekend coverage: 1 weekend out of every 4

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with OASIS
• Must meet all standard healthcare compliance and screening requirements, including but not limited to: background check, drug screening, immunizations (Hep B, MMR, TdaP, Varicella), physical exam, and license verification
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance
• Ability to pass color vision screening and fit mask test
• Completion of competency exams and core mandatory annual training
• Compliance with state-specific screenings and verifications (e.g., NJ Debarment State Search, NJ Sex Offender Exclusion)

This position is ideal for experienced home health nurses who are comfortable managing a high patient volume and extensive documentation, with a commitment to weekend coverage and local or travel flexibility.
