Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position
Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Main Operating Room with 23 OR beds
- Staff includes approximately 70 team members
- Day shift staffing example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
- Typical procedures: Elective surgeries including Orthopedics/Spine, Cardiovascular, General Surgery, Plastics, Gynecology, Robotics, and Urology
- No trauma cases handled on this unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience
- Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- De-escalation skills in healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or knowledge in Orthopedics/Spine and Cardiovascular procedures

- Candidates must have at least 1 current hospital acute care OR experience to be considered
