Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Mixed Skilled PCU Med Surg
Location: Kearney, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
Job Details
- Work on a new unit caring for both MSU (Medical Surgical Unit) and PCU (Progressive Care Unit) patients.
- Patient-to-nurse ratios:
- PCU group: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Medical/Surgical group: 1 nurse to 5 patients
- Floating responsibilities include Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units every other week (EOW), with priority as the first to float.
- Up to 2 extra shifts may be required every 6 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license appropriate for Nebraska.
- ACLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Experience
- Specialty: Mixed Skilled PCU Med Surg.
