Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Job Summary

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients.
• Maintain professional nursing standards while interacting with patients, families, and visitors.

Unit Details

• Unit Beds: 11
• RN to Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Trauma Level: III
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: MediTech
• Dress Code: Hospital-provided scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Arkansas RN license or Compact license verified through Nursys.
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Ability to circulate in multiple surgical specialties including Gynecology (GYN), Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT), Urology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.
• Experience with all patient populations.
• Current American Heart Association certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Experience with MediTech EMR system.
• Submission of:

  • Work history and skills checklist relevant to Operating Room, current within 1 year.
  • Two supervisory reference forms from within the last two years.

Additional Notes

• Candidates residing within 90 miles of Batesville will not be considered. Applicants between 90-150 miles may be reviewed but are less likely to be selected.
