Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Position

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Position Details

  • Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Shift: Days, 4 shifts of 12 hours each (4x12s) - Non-negotiable
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
  • Weekend Hours: As required by facility
  • Call Requirements: None
  • EMR System: EPIC
  • Number of Openings: 3
  • Float Requirements: As needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Minimum 2 years of recent NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the NICU
  • Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
  • Coordinate patient care with other departments
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
  • Perform duties consistent with organizational mission, values, and service standards

Work Environment & Culture

  • Dress code includes black scrubs
  • Patient population: NICU patients

Additional Information

  • No prior travel experience required for this position
  • Call is not required
  • Weekend hours as needed by the facility
