Registered Nurse (NICU) - Travel Position
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel
Job Details
- Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Shift: Nights, 4 shifts of 12 hours each (4x12s) — Non-negotiable
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48
- Weekend Hours: As required by facility
- Call Requirements: None
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years of recent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Job Responsibilities & Expectations
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in the NICU
- Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
- Coordinate patient care with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
- Perform duties consistent with organizational mission, values, and service standards
- Float to other units as needed
Work Environment & Culture
- Dress code requires black scrubs
- Patient population: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit patients

- Weekend hours as needed by the facility
