Description
Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Weekend Requirement: Rotating every third weekend
Holiday Requirement: Every third holiday
Orientation: 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Job Details
- Patient population: Neonatal to geriatrics
- Care areas: All areas throughout the facility including Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
- Respiratory equipment used: Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60 Respironics
- Work environment: Independent work with clinical judgment required; close collaboration with physicians
- Staff culture: Friendly and respectful multidisciplinary team
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with North Dakota state licensure
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Must have NICU experience
- No clinical involvement specified (likely non-direct clinical role)
Additional Information
- Radius rule: Candidates must be within 50 miles and cannot be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any related facilities in the network
- Return to office (RTO) required within 7 days of contract start; no additional RTO approvals after submission
