Registered Nurse (Stepdown)

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia
Specialty: Medsurg RN with Stepdown experience
Shift: Nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on an 8 West Stepdown unit (Medsurg with Stepdown experience required).
• Work 12-hour night shifts with 2 weekends per schedule period and holidays as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in West Virginia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, with at least some experience within the last year
• Med Surg nursing experience
• BLS Certification

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a driver’s license address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Previous permanent candidates must have been off the unit for at least 2 years.
• Previous travelers who completed a full year on the unit must have been off for at least 2 years.
• Individual unit requirements apply as per internal guidelines.
• Travel teams must be submitted together.
• Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening; submissions beyond that will be held until a spot opens.
• All submissions must include an unexpired copy of the candidate’s driver’s license.
