Registered Nurse (PCU Telemetry)
Location
- Kearney, Nebraska
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Unit size: 21 beds
Job Description
- Provide nursing care on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with telemetry monitoring.
- Float to Medical-Surgical unit as needed.
- May float to ICU for PCU patient status only.
- Care for many cardiac patients, including post-Cath Lab patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nebraska or multi-state compact RN license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), NIHSS.
- Experience: PCU/Telemetry nursing experience required.
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, if needed.
- May be required to work up to 2 extra shifts per 6 weeks.
Additional Information
- This is a traveler-friendly facility.
- Floating responsibilities include Med Surg and ICU (for PCU patients only).
