Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Call rotation every 3 weeks
• Every third weekend on call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding Requirements

• License and certification verifications dated within 30 days of start
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) dated within 30 days of start
• Education verification (highest level of academic education)
• Various professional forms and agreements including code of conduct, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and system access forms
• Drug screen and background checks must be completed and uploaded prior to start
• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

• This role involves direct patient care in the Cath Lab specialty.
