Description
Technologist (X-Ray) – Night Shift
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Average patient volume: approximately 15 patients per day.
- Equipment used includes DR, OEC C-Arm, 3D C-Arm, GE Elite C-Arm.
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
Work Schedule
- Night shift, 12 hours per day.
- 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Summer holiday coverage required for 1-2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day.
- Orientation scheduled to start on 6/1/2026.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience.
- ARRT certification required.
- Valid state license for Iowa (compact license allowed).
- EPIC experience required.
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel contract (preferred).
- Must not have been employed by this employer within the last 12 months.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of application.
- License verification and copy of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
- Proof of taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate adjustment).
Additional Information
- Night shift includes call back and on-call pay multipliers (details not included here).
- Must be able to work holidays and overtime as needed.
- Traveler will contribute clinical knowledge and skills in patient care management.
