Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient (Days)
Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide 60-minute evaluations and 30-45 minute treatment sessions based on diagnosis.
- Typical workload: 2 to 3 evaluations per day plus approximately 11 treatments (30 minutes each).
- Treat one patient at a time.
- Patient population primarily adults; experience with all age groups is welcome.
- Use of standard physical therapy modalities (Estim, USD) expected; device-specific training provided.
- No 10 or 12-hour shifts available.
- No non-billable orientation.
- Dress code: personal scrubs or business casual (athleisure/stretchy clothing allowed, but no leggings or crop shirts). No open-toe or backless shoes.
- Must have own vehicle; public transportation is not available in this small community.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years current Occupational Therapy experience (No new graduates).
- Must have hand specialty experience with national certification (examples: HTCC, CHT, ASHT).
- New Hampshire Occupational Therapy License (active and must be uploaded).
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
- EPIC experience is required.
- Expro experience is highly preferred.
Additional Requirements & Notes
- Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
- No travel pairs accepted.
- Candidates requesting schedule accommodations (e.g., block scheduling) or planning to work alongside another permanent or travel assignment will not be considered.
- Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed. Requests after submission or during interview will not be approved and may result in offer rescindment.
- Profile must include permanent address, work history, and required licenses/certifications.
