Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Call Schedule: Every other week (one week on, one week off)

Unit and Work Environment

• Unit: Cardiology
• Number of Beds: 125
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Staffing Support: RCIS, unit secretaries, and tech availability
• Equipment: GE core equipment, specialty equipment including IABP, IMPELLA, OCT, IVUS, FFR
• Documentation Systems: Mac Lab, Meditech
• Procedures Performed:

  • Invasive: Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • 24-hour STEMI facility
  • Cardio Memes
  • Implants: Loop Recorder, Pacemaker (PPM), Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD)
• Floating Policy: Non-invasive, Invasive, and Interventional Radiology (contract specific)
• Dress Code: Red or Black scrubs, hospital-laundered scrubs, or Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
