Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Requires 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period
Unit Details
- Emergency Room with 21 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Unit Secretary available; no tech support
- Standard ER equipment including brand new GE monitors, ultrasound, and stretchers
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Floating to another ER site may be required
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- NIH Certification
Preferred Certifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
Required License
- Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED), including experience within the last year
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
