Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Newton, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 AM – 07:00 PM, every weekend, no holidays

Job Description

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
Weekend shifts only, no holiday work required.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Iowa.
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year.

Additional Notes

All licenses and certifications must be verified with scanned copies showing expiration dates.
License verification must be dated within 30 days of start.
Drug screen must be completed and resulted before start with Medical Review Officer (MRO) signature.
All required documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
No prior travel experience is required for this assignment.

This position is ideal for an experienced ER nurse seeking a weekend-focused long-term contract in Iowa with comprehensive credentialing and compliance requirements.
