Description
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Oxford, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Friday to Sunday, Day shift (3 shifts x 12 hours, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Summary
- Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery (L&D) / Obstetrics (OB) setting.
- Experience with EMR system MEDITECH is a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
- Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required prior to start and must be maintained throughout the assignment.
- Current BLS certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification.
- AWHONN certification (intermediate or advanced level), must be updated every 2 years.
