Rad Tech Position - Morgantown, West Virginia

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Rotating schedule with day, afternoon, and night shifts
• Approximately 36 hours per week
• 2 weekends per month required
• Holidays may be required

Job Duties and Department Information

• Imaging modalities: X-Ray, OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy
• Average of 400 scans/studies per day
• Equipment used: Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, OEC C-arms
• EMR/PACS systems: Epic, Fuji Synapse
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• No IV starts required
• Radiologist available in-house 24/7 with residents on site
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used
• Scrubs provided by the facility

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• West Virginia State Radiologic Technologist license

Experience and Skills

• Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required

Additional Submission Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with an address located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been off-site for at least 2 years
• Previous travelers must have been off-site for at least 2 years after completing a full year
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency (not the facility)
• Only 2 candidates can be submitted per opening; travel teams must be submitted together
• Department-specific orientation required: 3 consecutive 12-hour day shifts
