Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Travel Position

Location: Ocala, Florida

Job Overview

• Backfill position in Respiratory Therapy unit (Unit 754)
• Shift coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend scheduling
• Unit uses Meditech documentation system
• Equipment includes GE R869 ventilators and V60 BiPAP machines
• Patient care requires critical care experience; trauma experience preferred
• Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) cover patient load without floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license in Florida
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Care Practitioner experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Critical care experience

Unit & Work Environment

• Hospital-wide bed capacity: 323 beds (main campus) plus additional beds at nearby campus
• Unit dress code: Pewter color solid scrubs
• Experienced staff and advanced equipment available
• Focus on patient experience in critical care settings
